We are Innostravo Technologies Inc. , doing business as Innostravo (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our“).

This limited workmanship warranty is made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you“), and Innostravo Technologies Inc., concerning our workmanship.

1. Scope of Coverage

This warranty applies strictly to defects arising directly from our manufacturing, fabrication, or manual/automated assembly workmanship. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Physical PCB manipuation defects (e.g., fractured traces, delamination).
  • Assembly and component placement errors (e.g., misaligned components, cold solder joints or reversed polarity placements performed by us).
  • Missing components that were either delivered to us by you or were to be sourced by us for your assembly.

2. Design Liability Exclusion (As per Terms & Conditions)

As outlined in our main Terms and Conditions, any operational failure or physical defect resulting from errors inherent in your original design files are strictly excluded from this warranty.

We are not liable if your circuit board fails to function due to:

  • Schematic design errors, routing mistakes, or trace-clearance violations in your uploaded Gerber files.
  • Incorrect component part numbers or values specified in your submitted Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Signal integrity issues, thermal management failures, or code/firmware errors.

3. Remedy and Replacement Structure

If a defect is proven to be a direct result of our workmanship, we will fully honor our operational commitment. Unlike standard industry warranties that only refund labor, our remedy covers the physical components involved in the failed run.

Upon validation of a workmanship defect, we will replace the defective boards by fabricating new PCBs, purchasing the required components to be mounted, and assembling the boards. Details of the warranty are as follows.

  1. Fabrication of the Printed Circuit Board (PCB).
    1. We will either sub-contract the fabrication to a Canadian manufacturer or utilize your manufacturer to fabricate required number of PCBs to be replaced.
    2. The PCB design files must be the exact same as those used to manufacturer the PCB that have our defective workmanship. Any changes to the design files will null-and-void this warranty.
    3. We will cover the fabrication and shipping costs.
  2. Component Procurement.
    1. The exact same Integrated Circuits (IC) must be used for the replacement assembly.
    2. We will source and acquire these IC if we or you do not have spares.
    3. We may elect to use your vendors or go through our vendors in order to acquire the IC at a reasonable cost and timeline.
    4. We will endeavor to acquire the same passive components, but may elect to use suitable replacements.
    5. Suitable replacements for passive components will have the same functional and physical characteristics as the components they are replacing.
  3. Assembly,
    1. We will assemble, free of charge, the boards to replace those that have workmanship defects.

4. How to File a Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, you must contact us within 30 days of receiving your shipment. You must provide high-resolution photographs or video documentation demonstrating the physical workmanship defect, alongside your original order number. We reserve the right to request that the defective boards be shipped back to our facility for technical evaluation prior to committing to remedy and replace the boards.
